Anant has completed his MA International Studies and Diplomacy at SOAS, University of London in 2020.
His core research focus is on International Security, Human Rights, Arms Trade, Military Expenditure, Humanitarian Disarmament, Multilateral Diplomacy and Human Security.
He is actively engaged in research for the various projects at SCRAP. His thesis sought to analyse the correlation between high/increasing military spending and human security and the need for addressing security issues with special focus to humanitarian concerns by expanding the understanding of security beyond the realm of physical security alone.
He is also interested in policy oriented research and is working on examining US Foreign policy around the Global War on Terror.
Beyond his masters, Anant is constantly seeking opportunities to engage in more research and use this research for advocating for international security and peace. He has great interest and belief in the potential of international organizations and diplomacy for conflict resolution.
